We are second generation missionaries to the Tarahumara Indians in the Sierra Madre of Chihuahua. We use farming to build relationships with people and become an active economic part of the community. In this context, we preach the gospel to whoever we can. Hannah’s father began this work over 20 years ago, and we were privileged to help him start our first church plant in May.
Hannah and I are specializing in singing. I have been translating Psalms to metered Spanish and hopefully Tarahumara as well before too long. Our church in El Paso has been helping us greatly in this since I am still in language learning mode. I am also a commercial airline pilot, and as the Lord has already provided us with an airstrip, a hangar, and a pilot, we are hoping and praying that He provides an airplane as well when the time is right.

I also am a painter of landscapes, airplanes, and quite a few other things, using oil paint on canvas as my usual medium. It is my desire to fill the earth with God-glorifying, clean, realistic artwork–instead of the confusing, cross-eyed stuff one often comes across in the world of art.
